Samuel Nutter
Violin/Composition Tutor
Sam Nutter is a Grade 8 violinist with over a decade of experience playing and performing. He started playing the violin at age six after hearing an orchestra on the radio. Shortly afterward, he asked for a violin for Christmas-and the rest was history. He is also a composer, writing music for the Hallé Orchestra and the National Children's Choir of Great Britain.
Sam also plays in the Leicestershire Schools Symphony Orchestra. Recently, he was commissioned by Pedestrian Arts to write a suite of music for a string quintet for the Tell Tall Tales project, a celebration of Leicester's folklore and legends.
Sam is currently studying A-Level Music, Film, and Photography at WQE College.
